Application:

A flexible hose for the transport of acetylene. For welding and cutting, for arc welding under protective gas and related processes. Also suitable for hydrogen, coal gas and carbon dioxide, argon, nitrogen for welding and cutting (not suitable for LPG, MPS and CNG).

Standard/approval: ISO 3821:2008 (formerly EN 559:2003).
Notice: Smooth cover available on request. Also available in 40 m lengths.
Temperature range: -30°C / +70°C.
Safety factor: 3 : 1
Tube: EPDM, black, smooth.
Reinforcement: Textile spiral construction.
Cover: EPDM, red, fluted; smooth (from ID12 mm)
Marking: Continuous coloured marking, black: “SEMPERIT S GAC ISO 3821 (EN559) PN 2 MPa (20 bar) DN -30°C quarter/year”.
